Insight and tools to complement and extend the core Toolkit

This Masterclass will help graduates of MGI’s Mindset, Language & Actions Toolkit to further excel in building strong, collaborative relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders for the best outcomes from any interaction. This interactive, half-day session focuses on powerful communication tools, adding all-encompassing skills to connect positively, influence others and collaborate from a position of ‘the Black’ in any situation.

This Masterclass will help graduates of MGI’s Mindset, Language & Actions Toolkit to further excel in building strong, collaborative relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders for the best outcomes from any interaction. This interactive, half-day session focuses on powerful communication tools, adding all-encompassing skills to connect positively, influence others and collaborate from a position of ‘the Black’ in any situation.

The masterclass allows people to develop their skills through a suite of new tools, to strengthen relationships and increase collaboration with colleagues and customers alike.

The Masterclass helps people to develop their skills though a suite of new tools to complement and extend the core Toolkit, including:

:

  • Collaborative Listening – starting with an impactful assessment of how well we listen, this tool exposes opportunities for better and more collaborative listening and is an awakening to how much better we can be, including our interactions on digital platforms.
  • High Return Questioning – this tool deepens our understanding of positive connection and benefits both the questioner and the questionee. Participants will improve their questioning abilities to collaborate in a trusting way to gain better information, understanding and outcomes. Practice of these questioning methods will complement MGI tools such as P / T Circle and Positive 1st Communication.
  • The WITY / WITM (What’s Important To You / What’s Important to Me) tool is shared as an approach to deeply understand what is important to customers so we can truly meet their needs. It can also be used collaboratively with colleagues to set up any project or interaction for mutual success.
  • The Speaks is a suite of advanced communication tools in addition to Time Speak which is taught on the MGI core 1-Day programme and is part of the Toolkit. Five further Speaks are taught to boost everyday language, increase ownership and responsibility, customer focus and collaboration with others.
